What I’m Recommending
DermResults Advanced skin care - for those who liked Beautycounter’s anti-aging CounterTime, this is what I am using to replace CounterTime. It actually seems a bit more potent than CounterTime. The essence/toner is quite tingly — not bad, just feels like cell turnover. When I inquired about this, I was told:
It’s likely the toning essence. That’s a power packed formula with mandelic and phytic acid plus witch hazel to really help clear pores and prep skin. The initial tingling could also have been because skin had become dehydrated. Even oily skin can become dehydrated and the hyaluronic acid blend helps to attract and retain moisture to your skins protective barrier so with consistent use this issue (of tingling) doesn’t typically reoccur.
ClearFuture skin care - similar to Beautycounter’s CounterControl line, it has salicylic acid to combat acne prone skin. Caroline is using this now. The Arbonne cleanser doesn’t have jojoba beads to exfoliate like CounterControl did. I liked using the CounterControl cleanser as a shower gel. The men’s line, called GroomWell, has a cleanser with jojoba beads. So I will be trying it soon.
HydrateMe Gel Cream - similar to the lightweight, bouncy, sheer, dewy favorite of Beautycounter’s Water Ceramide Cream.
SuperCalm is the line with hydration for those with sensitive skin.
I’m still on the hunt for a replacement for the beloved Vitamin C serum. Arbonne has a Glow line which focuses on brightening and has a product with more vitamin C than Beautycounter’s serum and bakuchiol (which is a natural plant based replacement of controversial retinol). It’s a different texture of Bc’s C serum; goes on like a dry oil that absorbs quickly.
LipOil - it’s a cross between lip balm and gloss. Not tacky, sticky or gummy. Whole hearted endorsement!
Self Tanner - look tan without the sweating in the sun! No orange cast or toxic chemicals.
Mineral sunscreen for body. ICYMI: here are words I wrote about ingredients to look for and avoid when buying sunscreen.
Non-skincare products I’ve tried and loved:
Green Synergy Elixir - combination of pre & probiotics, collagen, digestive enzymes to fight bloating, with a serving a fruit and veggies. It’s not chalky or gritty. Nice bright citrus flavor. Before this I was adding collagen to my coffee and taking a probiotic pill at night. This drink combines all the things!
Sport Hydration drink. I’ve lost count how many hydration drinks I’ve tried. Most have a bitter aftertaste of stevia. This one has a bit of cane sugar and a bit of stevia that isn’t bitter. I actually LIKE this; it’s not too salty either. I’ve tried to like so many others. Happy to send a sample.
There’s a cult following for the Fizz Energy Drinks with B Vitamins, minerals and caffeine if you want it. As one who frequently struggles with insomnia (& maybe a sugar addiction) I want/need an afternoon pick me up. There are caffeinated and caffeine-free options. Delicious. For my friends who like the popular canned energy drinks (so bad for you!), please let me send you a sample.
I tried the Vanilla Pea Protein Powder called FeelFit. This can be added to just water or milk but I enjoy adding it for more protein to smoothies. This was the best tasting of all I’ve tried yet still too sweet for my liking. The stevia isn’t bitter; it has both stevia and a bit cane sugar. Happy to send a sample. I’ve since learned there is pea protein powder called Simply1, that is only sweetened with stevia and tastes less sweet than FeelFit.
My husband tried the MindHealth drink mix for supporting cognitive performance, including aspects of memory and learning. He drank it the first time per my request and the second morning he came looking for it. He said he thought it helped him focus.
Coming in June
There are rumblings of a swap coming for Beautycounter’s beloved Supreme Cream. As soon as it is released I will test it!
As always, please reach out with questions. If I don’t know the answer, I have connections to people who do. That potentially sounds pretentious but the connections have helped make a fast transition to different products.

PS - I don’t get notification from Arbonne that you’ve placed an order, like I did with Beautycounter. I find that information in my back office on the website, which I don’t check daily.
PSS - Grateful you read this to the end. :)
