Most on this email list were former Beautycounter customers. Since those doors closed in May, you might need new makeup yet not sure where to go for clean makeup that performs.
Crunchi is the brand I’ve chosen to partner with because of their incredible standards - check out the Banished Ingredient list. Because makeup sits on the skin for hours, it is important to me that makeup is without toxic or hormone disrupting chemicals.
I’ve spent hours on training calls as well as talked with other former Beautycounter consultants about how Crunchi compares to Beautycounter. Please reach out with questions if you’re looking for a specific replacement.
What I Ordered Today
I’m not going to pretend I’m a makeup diva. However the brushes at Crunchi have a cult following. New and seasoned consultants rave about them. The bristles are made of silicone and laser cut, triple sealed so they don’t absorb product which will help the products last longer. They apply foundation flawlessly.
The Sunlight Facial SPF30 is supposed to be similar to Beautycounter’s Sheer Defense for Faces. I’ve been using AgeWell with SPF from Arbonne so I’m very curious to try this one from Crunchi.
The blush from Crunhi looks like lip gloss (in the color guava, pictured above). I’ve seen that two simple dots on the cheekbone give beautiful color. When I switched from powder to cream blush with Beautycounter I was delightfully surprised how much I liked the control of color placement with a cream blush. Excited to try this blush.
I’m also looking forward to try the eyebrow pencil (in Shade 2) because Beautycounter stopped making an eyebrow pencil years ago. Fun fact about the Crunchi pencils: they’re made in Germany (the only non-American product from the company). This decision was made because they couldn’t source an all wood pencil in America. Who knew the Germans were such skilled pencil makers? The product goes from tip to tail, will last forever, so $20 for a clean pencil is a great deal.
My daughter is a concealer fanatic and I also bought foundation so I could compare it to Beautycounter’s. The website has a helpful find my shade quiz. Or email me and I will help!
For the next week, new customers get 20% off with code ADVOCATE20 . Crunchi also has a customer rewards program called Crunchi Insider (super similar to Band of Beauty at Beautycounter). For $29 you get:
Welcome gift with product purchase over $50 (a $26 value). This month it is a gentle facial bar, which is similar to the CounterMatch Foaming Cleanser.
10% CrunchiCash on every purchase (no minimum) to redeem on your favorite Crunchi products within 90 days
Member-exclusive offers, early access to new products
a membership anniversary gift
Free Shipping on orders over $125 (normally $175)
The main difference I see is getting an anniversary gift when it auto-renews.
This promo only lasts a week.
Reach out with your questions. Go take a look.

PS - I’m sure there’s some confusion why I’ve partnered with both Crunchi and Arbonne. Simply they have different strengths. I’ve detailed in this post more specifics. Crunchi seems to have a strong makeup offering while Arbonne’s strength seems to be skin care and supplements. Both are reputable companies!
